In July of 2024, Alexandra adopted Riley at 4 months old from Paws New England. Later that year, Woody retired from socialization training. He now had a new job - rearing Riley to take over! Young Riley is already helping socialize dogs and has taken over as lead pack dog.

In February of 2025, at 14 years old, Woody passed out of his aging body. He now guides the pack and Alexandra in Spirit! Devastated by the loss of her beloved soul dog, Alexandra embarked on a soul awakening journey into animal communication. Studying under Shannon Cutts, Animal Sensitive & Intuitive and Reiki Master, Alexandra is now becoming an animal communicator herself through Shannon’s Adventure to Mastery Program.

Through animal communication, Alexandra learned that Woody was indeed coming back to her!! Through what is called a Soul Walk-In, Woody led her straight to Prince, his reincarnated Spirit. Prince and Woody can only be described as a miracle! They have the same energetic signature and match each other on a soul level. This incredible experience changed Alexandra’s way of seeing everything through using the dimension of her 6th sense, her inner teacher: Intuition.
While Alexandra has undergone weekly coaching sessions with a K9 Institute trainer and completed a Masterclass in Dog Training, it is this skill of tuning into her Intuition and being sensitive to the Spirit of the animals in her life that will shape the future of LoveToWalkDogsVT.
Dogs respond to energy more than anything! Alexandra has already begun implementing her energy work in the pack walks and is experiencing deeper bonds with her dogs as a result. The magic is unfolding in ways she couldn’t even imagine. From noticing subtle changes in her dogs that prompt health discussions with pet parents to listening better to what a dog needs or wants on their walks, it’s all thanks to Woody that this channel of information is now available to her.
